Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun this year because both kids knew what was going on and were VERY involved.

I took the kids to the "Safe Halloween" on Main Street in Springville. Businesses on Main Street and around Springville line both sides of the street from Center Street to 400 South. They pass out candy and some of them give coupons for the kids and/or parents. Great way to advertise for businesses and a great way for kids to get a lot of candy without going door-to-door.

We arrived at 3:00PM when it started and finished just before 4:00PM. When we were leaving there was a HUGE line that filled an entire city block at the starting of the trick-or-treating. I was so glad we had arrived early.

Audrey was Princess Leia and Ethan was Darth Vader. I had bought an 80's rocker wig to wear to TJ's friend's Halloween party we attended on Saturday, Oct 28. I wore that with blue eye shadow and fake eyelashes. People gave me weird looks. I don't know if it's because I looked weird or if it's because I was about the only adult that was dressed up.
