Going on a trip

This Thursday I will be going on a trip to Logan, UT where my expectant sister-in-law and her husband live. He attends school at Utah State University. She is due on April 4th. I will be taking my two kids with me. We will be staying till Sunday.

When my oldest was about 6 months old my husband went to Michigan (I think!) on a business trip. He was gone for 2 nights and 3 days. I went and stayed at my parents house while he was gone. This was the longest we had ever been apart from each other. That was about 6 years ago. We have been married for 8 years this April 16th. This trip I'm taking will be the longest we've ever spent apart. I think we'll survive though! I'm still not sure what he plans on doing while I'm gone, probably partying it up :)

I plan on attending a LDS Stake Women's Conference with my sister-in-law, Ardeth Kapp will be speaking. We will also be going to the LDS Logan Temple. My sister-in-law and I will also be preparing some freezer meals for when the baby comes.

It will be nice to get away from my little life for a bit. Even though my kids are coming with me, we won't be in our house, it'll be different, and I won't be weighed down with the responsibilities that weigh on my while at home.

Thinking of things to write

I really want to get into blogging, but I'm having a hard time thinking of what to write about. My life isn't all that interesting and I don't think anyone would really want to read what I would have to say, anyway. I've decided I need to write for me and not you....whoever you may be. The only person I know of that reads my blog is my husband :). However this url was previously my business url. This site will be strictly personal writings, however I may write about my business occassionally, that is not my main focus.
