My husband has a friend who's wife (Opie) has decided to become a photographer. She is trying to build her portfolio. We have been in need of family photos for a long time so we asked her to take pictures of us.
My sister-in-law had her engagement pictures done at the Utah State Hospital in Provo, UT. They were really nice. There was some really great stone work up there. We decided this would be a great place to take our family photos.
Saturday, March 24 we headed up there to take photos. We weren't really sure what to expect, but it was awesome. There is a place behind the hospital called "Castle Park".

It was created (in 1937) for hospital use. Not sure what they use it for. There are two castle like towers with old wooden doors on them. A couple of staircases. Tall walls. And a HUGE amphitheater all made of stone.

Opie took some great pictures of all of us. We also went to the park near our house and she took some of the kids playing. It was a lot of fun to do this as a family. Here is a
LINK to her online gallery.
I would like to go somewhere again and do a couple photo shoot with my husband. I'd like to have more photos of the two of

us. When we had engagement photos taken we didn't get many poses, it was indoors at a studio, and I wasn't extremely happy with the results. I'd love to have some fun photos of me and my husband together to celebrate our deep love and commitment to each other.
